Edudemic is a powerhouse of an ed tech website. They’ve got essays, videos, and pretty much any resource a student or teacher could need. There is even a section on the latest ed tech start-ups. If you’ve never checked out their site, it should probably be your next stop.
Edutopia [ technology integration ]
Edutopia is a site that all educators should be familiar with. They have a massive array of resources, covering all range of grade levels and subjects. Plus, they’ve got a wonderful section on “schools that work” which features schools across the country that have successfully implemented new ideas and curricula.
The Essential #Edchat Resource Guide
If you are new to Twitter, interested in joining the community, or even a seasoned veteran, you should check out the #EdChat resource guide, created by USC Rossier School of Education’s online teaching degree. This guide includes a great background on #EdChat as well some ideas on how to get involved. Plus, the guide contains tons of additional resources for those interested in digging a little deeper.

Ed Cetera is a pretty impressive Ed Tech site. They’ve got news and interviews covering the latest trends in ed tech. They also offer training and professional development for educators interested in integration. Plus they’ve got an “on campus” section for higher learning as well!
My Teaching Degree
My Teaching Degree is an absolutely wonderful collection of apps, tools, and ideas for teachers looking to bring technology into the classroom. The site has over 150 online resources organized by subject and grade-level. If you’re looking for a good place to start when integrating technology, My Teaching Degree is perfect!
Ed Tech Magazine [ focus on k-12 ]
Ed Tech Magazine has an enormous collection of classroom resources and ideas. They also have a wonderful section on setting up a huge variety of infrastructures. There are also excellent district-level resources here on networks, storage devices, software, and hardware.
EduTech for Teachers [ cool tools for the 21st century ]
EduTech for Teachers is a blog run by Jamie Forshey out of Pennsylvania. She has put together an impressive collection of blogs, resources, lessons, PD, project ideas, and so much more. Her site is definitely worth checking out.
Educator’s Technology [ and mobile learning ]
Educator’s Technology hosts an enormous supply of tools, guides, blogs, videos, lessons, ideas, and more. Broken down into numerous “Top ___ lists” this site has a ton of great programs and ideas to try out in your classroom.
Affordable Colleges Online
And, for those of you looking to continue your education (in education technology, or any other field) Affordable Online Colleges is a great resource for finding distance learning programs. Perfect for teachers, or really anyone who has a job, distance learning is an excellent (and often cheaper) alternative to on-campus programs. If you’re looking to further your education, AC Online is an excellent place to start.
Computer Science Online
Another excellent resource for those looking for opportunities in continuing education, specifically in the computer sciences, is computer science online. This site can help you (or your students!) pick a path, find a program, and get some ideas on job possibilities as well. It’s definitely a great resource for students interested in computer science!
Restech
Restech is a new organization that focuses on bringing robotics to kids. They offer workshops, supplies, and ideas for getting students involved with robotics. They have a great collection of offerings not only for K-12 but for higher ed and groups outside of the classroom as well.
OnlineU
OnlineU, a website of SR Education Group, is a comprehensive guide to online colleges that is focused on accessible, affordable, quality education. The site recently released the 2015 Top Online Computer Science Degrees, a list of 10 non-profit, regionally accredited schools ranked according to factors that correlate with post-graduation success. Whether you’re interested in computer science or other subject areas, OnlineU is an informative resource that will help you in finding the online degree program that fits you best.
